On ANZAC Day Australians and New Zealanders remember the battle in 1915 at Galipoli, Turkey. Ending in retreat, the battle represents a coming of age in the consciousness of each nation. Its message for us to today is that the limitations of human kind are starkly seen in the tragedies and travesties of war and points us to the renewing power of God's love and grace.
