“Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low. The uneven shall be made level, and the rough places a plain.” Isaiah 40:4

We need to understand that when the prophet Isaiah said this he was talking about levelling the playing field and rectifying the inequities of life.

In the 1970s a battle cry among theologians in Latin America arose. It went like this: “Sin no justícia, no hay paz.”

"Without justice there is no peace."

 As the peaks of privilege and the valleys of deprivation are evened out, this is when you’re most likely to experience the new creation of Jesus Christ.
