The parables told by Jesus are like a pieces of crystal with their many facets. As we stare at crystal new facets seem to appear. Similarly, at the very moment we read a parable and say, "Now, I've got it," is the moment we are ready to be given new insights. Today's gospel reading is the Parable of the Sower. This parable is, each time it is read, a mystery. Each time a new truth emerges, a new facet.
