This week we celebrate. The word rejoice is sprinkled through out the Bible readings set for today. Perhaps uniquely, religious worship for the people of the Old Testament (Israelites) was founded on joyous proclamation. Maybe this is the reason Jesus chose a child as an example for us to follow because of their innate joyfulness.
